- After all the hype i gave it a try. After 30 hours of convincing myself that I am having fun, i can lie to myself anymore. The game just plain ****. Play Witcher instead
- This port is a 10/10 elden ring is a massive open world rpg all in your palms and CHEAPER than the ps5 Xbox and steam versions containing the whole game+dlc and tarnished edition update that costs 5£ in other platforms the game also runs in an awesome 30-45 fps with some dips in heavy areas like Radahn dunes but nothing huge
Criticism
- This is honestly the perfect game within almost every single category, fighting, boss designs, weapons, lore, looks, map, all of it. the ONLY bad thing is that the lore is kinda hidden compared to both god of war games, and you have to watch a youtube video about the lore to know anything about it. still a 10/10 game
Mixed
- Massive, epic, and rewarding. It’s just not particularly fun, or worth the grind for me. Technically this is a great port on Switch.

- What I can say is this; Elden Ring is intact on Switch 2, perhaps closer to the older days of FromSoftware releases than the new on the technical side, but the best way to play on a handheld and still an excellent videogame for those who haven’t dived in yet on other consoles. A tarnished epic, but an epic nonetheless.
- If you haven’t played Elden Ring, and the Tarnished Edition on the Switch 2 has enticed you, please make the leap. I envy you seeing it all for the first time. If you have the game on other consoles or PC and don’t own something like a Steam deck or ROG Ally, the Elden Ring you love is there and intact, but with the visual downgrade that you probably expect. In the end, more Elden Ring is a very good thing.
- Elden Ring Tarnished Edition runs really well on the Switch 2, bringing the masterful RPG to both new and existing players on a fresh platform. With both the base game and DLC included, along with the extra classes and weapons, Tarnished Edition is the definitive way to enjoy the game.
Criticism
- Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition is a surprisingly solid Nintendo Switch 2 port. Despite noticeable visual compromises and occasional performance drops, the experience holds up remarkably well, especially in handheld mode. Being able to explore the Lands Between on the go is its biggest strength, although the way online sessions are handled after putting the console into sleep mode can be frustrating.
