Retrospace
Immersive, disco-punk, space horror where you can be a sneaky chap or a mutant action hero as you try to survive on a space station swallowed by a black hole. A mind-bending ride with weird creatures, immersive features, time jumps, and '70s mustaches!

- It'll need some patches but I bit the bullet and bought it. Just reload a save if something doesn't spawn like a ammo or a quest item. These bugs are rare though. It's one hell **** especially for 20 bucks. 15-20 hours minimum to do it like a normal gamer exploring and not rushing the main story and just enjoying getting lost. That's the point of the game.. I moved prey when it came out and while this isn't prey this is its own thing. Maybe I just love these games but honestly it's just a great game actually money well spent even with the bugs that will soon be patched I especially like the world building and the style visually reminds me of half life. Every room has a story. It's 10/10 for me and that's only a few times a year (galactic pod racer this year)
- Just simply everything I wanted from a new immersive sim game. It has freedom, great level design, lots and lots of extras to find, and a gripping word and story. Of course it's not a perfect game, no game is perfect, but it is perfect for what it's aiming to do. 10/10 no notes!
- A gripping sci-fi immersive sim with a unique 70s-inspired setting, plenty of personality, and a healthy dose of dark humor. It's been a long journey, and seeing this game finally come together is incredibly **** course, I'm giving it a 10/10. I'm just a completely unbiased player who definitely had absolutely nothing to do with developing it. Jokes aside, it's a game made with a lot of passion, and I'm proud to have been part of it.

- RetroSpace brings back the philosophy of classic immersive sims inside a bizarre, satirical and distinctive retro-futuristic universe. Its freedom works because weapons, stealth, Mutamods and environmental interactions remain genuine options rather than mandatory solutions. Exploration is also its most divisive element: finding your way without waypoints can be genuinely rewarding, but the minimal map and deliberately vague directions can sometimes turn discovery into frustration.
- As a love letter to the immersive sim genre and a whole host of games that rank among my all-time top 20, RetroSpace is an absolute joy to play. The only real shame is that it never quite manages to rise above its inspirations, despite having all the ingredients to do so. [Issue#375, p.60]
