Halloween: The Game
It’s Halloween night, 1978, the unsuspecting families of the quiet suburban town of Haddonfield are making holiday preparations, and evil has made its way home. Take The Shape of Evil as Michael Myers or save your neighbors as a Hero of Haddonfield in Halloween, the ultimate asymmetrical horror sandbox. As Michael, players wear the mask, become the Boogeyman, and stalk innocent residents with relentless obsession. Utilizing a nightmarish array of abilities, Michael leverages shadows and stealth to satisfy his bloodthirst. This doesn’t mean Haddonfield is going down without a fight. Frightened townsfolk will call the local authorities and even fight back when threatened, incentivizing Michael to avoid detection. And for the first time ever, fans of the transformative original film will have the option to witness the haunting narrative events surrounding "The Night He Came Home" through the eyes of Michael Myers in a standalone singleplayer story mode. As a Hero of Haddonfield, it’s your job to alert the residents of Haddonfield to the impending evil and help them escape before falling victim to Michael’s unyielding pursuit. In dynamic and ever-changing 1v4 asymmetrical multiplayer matches, hero players must arm themselves with everyday household items, weapons, and knowledge to combat an unpredictable and unkillable enemy.

- Really fun despite the jank, while the gameplay loop can be repetitive, the player interactions make up for it.
Dailleur petit spoil : prochain wolverine promis promis Pour terminer j
- Having so much fun playing as Michael! So glad someone out is making these style of games.
Criticism
- The game idea is good, but the execution falls short—perhaps if it weren't so monotonous. It really should have had a more entertaining story mode; after playing for a while, it ends up becoming boring.
- I am shocked there aren't overwhelmingly positive reviews. My friends and I LOVED Friday the 13th and played it forever. A few of us also played and enjoyed Texas Chainsaw Massacre well enough. But, in a vacuum, this game itself, is far superior and I will tell you why: Friday was a near perfect game for friends to play together or a pre-toxic/pre-covid internet community to play together. Because it was simple enough yet every game was different. BUT, everyone got in the bad habit of just escaping and saving themselves asap or Jason would be just a hacker and slasher. This game, the actual PURPOSE of the game, is to work together to save high priority targets (victims). It encourages teamwork, strategy, not just simply escaping. To the contrary, if you and the other humans just leave asap, you will literally lose the game. And from the killer perspective, now it rewards you to play like a horror movie, stalking your victims. The bloodthirst system rewards actually playing it like something you would see
- Best online horror game ive played ever, story mode is good but bassicaly its tutorial for killer role, graphics are okay, but optimization is poor, dont listen to noobs killer role is powerfull if u have 5 fingers

- Halloween: The Game nails the atmosphere but not the execution (pardon the pun). It's undercut by bugs, good ideas not fully realized, and a lack of variety; not to mention the curious decision to force all players to remain in the lobby long after they're dead.
- Halloween: The Game truly understands the fantasy it aims to deliver, whether you're controlling Michael Myers or desperately trying to survive him. The campaign is short, yet serves as an effective introduction that recreates iconic moments from the 1978 classic, while the multiplayer sets itself apart through NPCs that push the experience beyond the traditional 4v1 formula. Even while stumbling with progression bugs and shallow structural variety, the end result is a violent, entertaining slasher that delivers a solid homage to the original film.
- Halloween: The Game does a great job of capturing the atmosphere of the classic 1978 movie. Multiplayer can be a lot of fun once you actually figure out how to play. Unfortunately, the game is also rough around the edges with bugs and glitches that hamper the experience. Halloween: The Game isn't as classic as the original film but I would say it's a very respectable Halloween H20. It has its problems but is still very fun.
Criticism
- Halloween: The Game has its issues, from poor onboarding when playing as a survivor to simply feeling rough around the edges. But on the plus side, it perfectly captures the essence of the film it's based on and puts a new spin on the traditional asymmetrical multiplayer horror format, making it fun to play whether you win or lose.
