Praise
- It's pretty bad and boring. I found the development curve low. It takes a lot of invest ment for fun but the result is not satisfactory. Do not buy that garbage.
- The game isn't good. The user interface is a headache in itself, you have to navigate through 3-5 menus just to do one thing. As for the traffic, half the time it doesn't even know what it's doing. You set up a line hoping to make money, and the next thing you know, it's operating at a loss. As the map gets bigger, the performance just tanks. They basically tweaked TF2 a bit and resold it. Is it bad? Yes. It falls short of expectations. As a Turkish guy, it makes me feel like the money I gave went to waste.
Criticism
- While improved lighting passes and an expansive vehicle encyclopedia initially provide a charming logistics diorama, it fundamentally amounts to a complacent rehash that adds virtually zero systemic depth over its predecessor. Archaic rail-signaling pathfinding continues to needlessly derail complex junctions, while catastrophic late-game CPU optimization reliably reduces sprawling transport networks into an unplayable slideshow on high-end hardware. An insultingly trivial economic simulation that makes bankruptcy impossible after the first hour, coupled with a cynical reliance on community modders to provide basic quality-of-life features, completely hollows out strategic management. An overpriced, technically unpolished half-step that disrespects the time and patience of simulation purists.

What critics said
Praise
- While its performance and ease of use leave something to be desired, Transport Fever 3 is a wonderfully satisfying tycoon sim that excels at creating an organic flow, with strong macro- and micromanagement systems that let you go as deep as you want and play for as long as you want. [Issue#375, p.55]
- I would recommend Transport Fever 3 to anyone who enjoys city-building games. It opens the door to an entirely new world, with a huge amount of new content and systems capable of consuming thousands more hours of your time.
- Transport Fever 3 turned out to be a game of big ambitions. Building a functioning logistics network is quite a challenging task, and the developers tried to implement it across several time periods as well. The result is engaging, though the interface here definitely needs refinement.
