Criticism

  • A boring vampire like that is very similar to other games in the genre and offers nothing new pretty bad tbh

Mixed

  • Great story interesting combat and music only bad thing is the time based quests and things you can't do while being a vampire or a wizard sadly they are also inside main quests
  • The Blood of Dawnwaler is an excellent open-world dark fantasy RPG which falls short of its lofty ambitions due to many small deficiencies. In short: the combat is engaging, but repetitive; it works well against a single enemy, but struggles against a crowd (which is most encounters). The writing is of a high standard, with the game throwing up numerous dialogue options that will genuinely force you to stop and consider your actions. • By the end of The Blood of Dawnwalker, the developers' passion for the title is undeniable. All the care poured into the narrative, the characters, and this twisted vampire world proves that it's no coincidence the studio's leadership was behind The Witcher 3. There is a genuine heart embedded within it, yet a persistent question lingers: given a few more months of development, it might have achieved something close to perfection.
  • A fantastically designed game that, with its unique time-flow mechanic, brings a true evolution to the open-world RPG genre. For many players, this will be an experience that reminds them of the best moments from The Witcher 3, and it will surely become a favorite modern RPG for many.
  • The world is also exceptionally well-realized. Although it is a fantasy setting, the developers have done an excellent job of making it feel like a believable fantasy—something that could actually have happened.
