A few rough edges in combat, resource RNG, and quality-of-life keep it from absolute perfection, but they do little to diminish an otherwise remarkably polished and thoughtfully designed experience. Fields of Mistria doesn't just prove that the genre still has room to grow, it sets an incredibly high bar for what a modern farming RPG can be.
