Praise
- Twisted Tower dose what it's promising. If you want a good shooter that reminds you of bioshock, Twisted Tower is that game a short and fun experience good enough for it’s price. It could have a litte flaws and better, but it is perfect for what it is. A Good Fps, just like the old days. 100% Recommended if you want a fun and Twisted experience.

What critics said
Praise
- Twisted Tower is an excellent shooter that's a fun ride all the way through. You won't be disappointed once it's all over.
- Twisted Towers' biggest drawback is the comparison invited by its creators—a comparison against games that are, in reality, light-years ahead. Take Twisted Towers for what it is: a simple, fun game that lets you spend a few carefree afternoons playing a "Boomer Shooter." Just forget the bold comparisons; *BioShock* is on another planet.
- Thomas Brush and a small team have put together an homage to BioShock and other classic shooters. But Twisted Tower has its own set of party tricks and surprises, too. It’s one of those games where a developer’s enthusiasm for a genre leads to a perfect alignment of fresh and familiar. Twisted Tower is a must-play for fans of BioShock, classic first-person shooters, haunted carnivals, and evil amusement parks.
Criticism
- Sloppy, buggy, and derivative, Twisted Tower can offer only a few moments of diversion despite a refreshingly short runtime. Instead, it furnishes its baffling world with constant reminders or just how little thought and intention has gone into its development.
- Twisted Tower is imperfect, short, a bit empty from time to time. It has a faulty currency balance, boring cutscenes, and overly simple puzzles. But it has soul. It has love. It has a world you want to live in, and that is what matters most. After endless 100-hour AAA open-world masterpieces, it's like a breath of fresh air (even if it smells like burnt popcorn).
